It’s gonna be May. How.

For me, it is especially alarming because I’m moving to New York in less than a month which you’d think I’ve processed already but I’ve only just started to get there. I don't think it was going to hit until it was actually May. Now I feel like I’m at a full sprint.

It seems like it was only January yesterday?

Here are some tips that I’m trying to do myself that I encourage you to do when you feel like life is just moving a bit too fast.

  1. Stay Present- thinking too far in the past or in the future won’t get you anywhere because it's not there. You’re here now.
  2. Keep a list of what you have to do that day and only that day. Be realistic about what you can actually do. Cross it off after you're done, you’ll feel more accomplished.
  3. Journal
  4. Don’t forget to breathe

In contrast to last year, April 2020 was suffocating. I was at a level 10 praying to God that I won’t physically start breaking the four walls that were squeezing me in.

This year I’m comfortable. I’m still in the same place but it's starting to look up. I’m seeing people, I’m moving places. It might be going fast still, but at least I feel like I’m enjoying it.
